Center Mass Solutions is a veteran-owned small business comprised of former military special operations instructors, law enforcement professionals, hunters, and competitive shooters. With the primary focus always being the student, delivering whatever instruction necessary for them to reach their goal, always pursuing the mantra “Let no man’s ghost say if only the training had done its job.”

Center Mass Solutions founder Gene Hauenstein’s professional career accomplishments include Marine Scout Sniper, Scout Sniper Instructor, Force Reconnaissance Marine, and State Department Designated Defensive Marksman. After serving 9.5 years on active duty, he has followed his passion for teaching by taking a civilian position as the training chief for 1st Marine Expeditionary Force Urban Sniper School. During his 14+ years serving as the Chief Instructor, student demographics included Force Reconnaissance Marines, Marine Scout Snipers, Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC), Naval Special Warfare (SEALs), and various Army Tier units. Additionally, he continues to use his years of experience training military special operations to serve as a guest speaker for Law Enforcement SWAT conferences, and an advisor for several companies in the tactical and hunting equipment industries.
